The Patchshop
🪡 The Patchshop
Made for the Do You WANNA Jam?!
Moths have chewed through the town and now everyone’s clothes are full of holes. Rent is due in three days and it’s up to you to patch everyone up fast to make enough money... or it’s lights out for the Patchshop.
🧵 About the Game
The Patchshop is a short, quirky game where you run a lil' patch shop for animal customers with big personalities. Each visitor comes in with a clue about what patch they want. You’ll need to read between the lines, pick the patch that matches, and keep your customers happy.
-
7-10 customers per round
-
4 patches to choose from: one perfect, one okay, two wrong
-
Earn coins, save enough money to pay the rent
It’s cozy, a little silly, and made for touch screens, though it can still be played on desktops/laptops.

I was so happy i could play this game on my phone! Very well done!
How long have you been using Construct for?
Thank you for trying it out :-) I just started using it this summer and I absolutely love it.
I think it works really well for a solo dev, I think it might be tricky for bigger teams, as I haven't seen anything for git hub or like keeping a version control. But it's so easy to prototype ideas in. I started out with the free version and made a little mini game to get a sense for it.
Then I decided to buy it for the month of August, before deciding how I want to proceed with game engines. I have used Unity in the past and have heard great things about Godot but found Construct3 randomly on my own. I am deciding if I will continue using it or move back to Unity or giving Godot a try. For now, I'm finishing up one more game with Construct3 before the end of the month.
Love the art, very cute!
Thank you! I’m delighted you liked the art. Was there a character or moment that stood out to you most?
